Our go to for music trivia on Tuesday nights Music with Mo. Great beer and great food. Tonight’s selections is the monthly special “Patty Issues” burger, two burger patties, caramelized onions, sandwiched between grilled cheese sandwiches made with cheddar and American. Side of house buffalo Asian chile sauces ... roasted brussel sprouts. Accompanied with Kolsch style beer. This is a local West Ashley destination. Family friendly, craft brewery for neighbors and visitors alike. Read More
From my viewpoint this place just barely makes five stars. They do have a great selection of brews on tap but only one stout. This place does have a great flight you can pick called the Brewers dozen. This is of course 13 different samples and they're picking them for you. Of course we had to try this and our ... favorites were Critical Hit (Debbie) and Zinginer (Rick). I'll have to say this is the first time I've ever picked a flavored (ginger) pale ale as my favorite. This place also has some very nice indoor/outdoor seating, small but decent sized bar seating, as well as a full kitchen with all the pub grub you would expect. One thing they do have that's pretty unique is a full-size arcade room. Anyway we had a good time there so well worth the stop if you're in the area. Read More
So I recently visited Frothy Beard Brewing Company and had the absolute privilege of being emotionally evaluated by my waiter, Keegan — a man who clearly minored in Sarcasm and majored in Vague Personal Accountability. When I asked for a beer recommendation, this guy looked me dead in the eyes and said, “I don’t know ... what your taste buds are like.” Which, honestly, is fair. We just met. 25 lunch breaks ago. Why would he assume the emotional depth and flavor profile of my palate? That’s intimacy. That’s second-date conversation. And you know what? Respect. He refused to gaslight me into enjoying an IPA I wasn’t spiritually prepared for. He made it very clear that my beer journey is my responsibility. Growth. At one point, as I sat there clearly contemplating my life choices and he basically told me to go back to work. Not aggressively. Not kindly. Just… efficiently. As if my lunch break had overstayed its welcome in the Kingdom of Keegan. Was he sarcastic? Yes. Was he mouthy? Absolutely. Was he kind of an asshole? In the best possible way. It was less “customer service” and more “older brother energy who refuses to enable you.” I came for craft beer and left with character development. 10/10 would be politely roasted again. Read More
This place has some great bar pies! Highly recommend it. The wings are good too but would def go for the pizza. Also plenty of parking and the service was really nice.

Solid food, good service & quality beers. Nice outside patio and they usually have events throughout the week (trivia, comedy and music). They have both video games & table top games with a welcoming vibe for all. Our favorites include the Sun and Sal pizza, the wings and their chopped cheese sandwich. Highly ... recommend. Read More
We are in town on vacation and we found this brewery. My wife absolutely loved their beer. The atmosphere was very laid-back. We had a great pizza from their kitchen. The manager Carly was a complete rockstar. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back. The bartender was a ... great guy and the whole vibe. There was a very friendly local hangout with great beer and great people. We will see you soon Frothy Beard. The London’s Read More
I absolutely love trying a variety of sour beers and this brewery definitely satisfied my taste buds. They have beers that refer to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...how cool is that? They have amazing handmade pizza that's worth trying but their sandwiches looked amazing also. Their monster slice is even bigger than ... I expected! They have an outside patio that's dog friendly, which I always appreciate for our fur babies to enjoy also! Definitely must try if you're in the area. Read More
