There’s only one tea garden in the United States and it just happens to be located about twenty miles south of Charleston on Wadmalaw Island. Like most of the South Carolina lowcountry, The Charleston Tea Planation has a deep history that runs hundreds of years. Now that history includes our new flagship IPA, Hopmalaw.
Hopmalaw is a Belgian IPA with a 6.5% ABV. It’s golden in color with an estery yeast profile. It has a citrus hop character with an herbal earthy note from the green tea we sourced from Charleston Tea Plantation.
