Let’s start from the beginning.
Frothy Beard Brewing Company grew out of a passion for creativity, culinary arts, zombies, epic novels, board games, the outdoors, and beer.
Michael Biondi, Steve McCauley, and Joey Siconolfi have been friends for more than ten years, brewers for six, and officially opened Frothy in 2013. The beer and the brewery have both gained a lot of press and a lot of fans.
Just a couple of years ago, things got even Frothier! Wesley Donehue, the CEO of Charleston-based Push Digital—one of the leading digital political communications firms in the country—has joined Joey, Steve and Michael as a partner in Frothy. So now the trio of bearded brewers is a quartet!
It didn’t take long for the foursome to show the fruits of their labor… In 2017, Frothy Beard Brewing Company got a major upgrade and relocated to West Ashley on Sam Rittenberg Blvd. Their state of the art taproom and facility has allowed them to increase their brewing capacity by more than 400% and they even canned a Frothy favorite, ¡Andale!, for the very first time.
